This is especially important for the timely coordination of planning external blinds, facades, and the preparation of all necessary electrical installations in case of electric blinds, as it is essential that the electrical infrastructure is carefully planned and routed to the designated window installation locations.
Planning Electrical Installation Work
If the blinds are intended to be operated with a switch, it is necessary to prepare the electrical supply both to the blind's control box and to the designated location for the switch. In the case of remote control operation, only the preparation of the electrical supply to the blind's control box is required.
Installation of Recessed Covers
Once the windows are installed and before the facade work begins, our field sales representative takes precise measurements for the production of recessed covers, which are tailored to the specific dimensions of your property. The size of the cover primarily depends on the height of the window frame, the type of slats being installed, and whether insect screens are also being installed. All Tehrol covers are custom-made. After the recessed covers are produced at our manufacturing facilities, our installation teams will fit them to your property and also deliver the styrofoam panels for the Invisa side guides, which the facade installer will install on the reveal during the facade work.
Facade Work and Installation of Insulation
During the installation of the facade, the facade contractor inserts our styrofoam panel for the side guides into the reveal. In the case where only blinds are being installed, it is important that the center of the groove in the recessed reveal aligns with the center of the groove in the already installed aluminum recessed cover. The reveal must be adjusted to the required dimensions to ensure a perpendicular installation to the window frame. The facade contractor then completes all facade work.
Final Phase: Installation of Blinds
After the facade is completed, our technician visits the property again to measure the dimensions for the blinds and insect screens, which are then manufactured at our production facilities. Each blind is precisely tailored to perfectly fit the dimensions of the opening. During installation, the recessed guide for the blinds is fixed into the styrofoam panel, while the blind casing and insect screen are mounted into the already installed recessed cover. In the case of manual operation, the window is drilled on the inside to install the single control rod. For electric operation, the motorized blinds are connected to the pre-prepared electrical installation.
